Hi. My hair is very thick hair for some reason
when I curl my hair w/ a curling iron or if I put hot roller or sponge rollers it dosn't

It's the weight of your hair that is pulling out
the curl. A professionally done "body perm" would help hold the curl
longer.

When you want to curl your hair, do it with a
hard hard gel. I use men's 10 hold gel, then use Thermasilk firm hold spray..and let it

I'm 15 yr. old and I dyed my hair jet-black. I
went to a salon, but they said in order to get my hair back to its natural colour-light
golden brown-I would have to get it striped and it would have to be orange for about a
month! Is there any other way that wouldn't make my hair fall out or orange? Thanks -

Be careful. I did the same thing as you (I have
light brown hair). First of all Stripping your hair is expensive, and it didn't work one
bit on me. You can try it, but before you pay the money get the hairdresser to try a small
strand to see if it works. I ended up having to completely grow it out! - Erin, Abbotsford

There is no such thing as a non-permanent hair
DYE. Other alternatives such as rinses, which are non-permanent, usually only
"shade" the hair somewhat (such as adding a little red to brown hair). If you
have highlights, any of these methods may damage them.

The only real remedy is to remove the hair root and all. If
depilitory creams don't go deep enough to give you the results you want, then I suggest
using an Epilady. Pulls the hair out, root and all, but a lot faster & easier than
waxing.

You might try switching to using a depilitory cream instead
of shaving for awhile. As far as shaving, shave at night, and don't put deodorant on until
the next morning. Use a man's shaving cream in gel form, and don't shave overly close for
awhile. Try switching brands of deodorants, and even going without for a day when you are
at home & skip shaving. Dust your underarms with baking soda instead. Give your
armpits a rest. The dark shadow is from the hair roots being very dark. The only remedy is
to remove it by the root, such as by waxing or an Epilady.

an allergic reaction. Did you use the Jolene Regular or Gentle? Here are some
"gentle" brands. Ardell Invisi-Bleach Cream and Hair Off with Chamomile, aloe,

I have dark hair on my upper back stomach and chest. My
stomach has hair on it that makes me look like a guy. Its not too bad but i dont like to
wear two piece bathing suits or shirts that show even a little of my stomach. I read about
something called Hirsuitism, i dont think that i have something like that but even if i
did i would probably not get treatment from a doctor because i really don't like to tell
them personal things about my body, i would much rather get a treatment that i could do

Since you are a female and you have highly visible hair on
your back & chest, you very well could have a mild case of hirsuitism (and/or ethnic
background and heredity). You have a couple of choices for do-it-yourself. Bleach the
hair, or waxing. Waxing over a period of time can actually make the hair become finer. -
