| << Question #HR040 - Blonder hair without bleach How can I make my hair blonder without using hair dye or going in the sun or
to a sun tanning booth? Becky, NJ
>> Answer
#HR040 - Blonder hair without bleach
If you want to lighten your hair without bleach or dyeing
it's simple... Pantine Pro-V has a lot of products for lightening hair that are just
shampoo and conditioner that add natural highlights that fade with your hair and make your
hair look way lighter. You should try it. When I dyed my hair black I got most of the
color out just by using that shampoo...NO joke try it, its awesome!! - Laurel, Michigan

#HR042 - Dyeing highlighted hair
Hi, I have light brown, ginger hair. I have highlights on top
of my hair and in a V-shape at the back. Is it possible to dye the sides of my hair that
are not highlighted a darker shade than my natural colour? I feel it would make my
highlights look better although they look great just now. is that possible? - Graeme, ED
>> Answer
#HR042 - Dyeing highlighted hair
If it ain't broke, why fix it? If you are going to darken the
sides, I suggest you do it in a "reverse highlight" manner. In other words,
don't darken it in a solid color. Best to have something like this done by a professional,
or you could end up looking a little "patch-work-ish."

#HR044 - Bleached Facial Hair
I did bleaching which changed my facial hair to golden
brown. Will it be permanent, how to get rid of this brown hair? pls answer - Sha,

>> Answer
#HR044 - Bleached Facial Hair
To get rid of it quickly, you will have to use a dipilatory
of some sort. Either by waxing or a cream, but it will grow back to its natural color. To
get rid of it permanantly, you will need permanent hair removal treatments such as laser.

#HR047 - Temporary Hair Straightening
I have very fine light brown hair. It's naturally an odd
mix of random wavy sections and straight sections. Usually, I straighten it everyday to
even it out. However, I'm going on a trip in which straighteners, curlers, etc are not
allowed. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do to look good instead of
resorting to wearing a ponytail the whole time? - Bella, Milwaukee

I colored my hair brown with blonde highlights and it
burned the hair. I want to change it back to all red. How long should I wait before I can
do it?? - Cindy, San Antonio
>> Answer
#HR048 - Recoloring Damaged Hair
Once your hair is damaged, no amount of "waiting"
is going to repair your hair. And you'd better have it repaired by a professional before
you even think of recoloring it. Your hair could actually dissolve. - Ed

#HR049 - Perming after Lice Treatments
I have used alot of lice treatments in the past and now I
want to get a body perm. Will my hair fall out? Please help, I really want this perm. -
Rosie, Ft Wayne
>> Answer
#HR049 - Perming after Lice Treatments
Using lice killing products when you already have a perm,
or colored hair, may significantly loosen perms or cause the loss of some new hair
coloring. We haven't heard of the reverse--problems with perms after using the products.
There are many lice killing products, some mild, some very strong, and we don't know what
you have been using so, it would be best to have a beautician check your scalp & hair
roots before perming, just to be on the safe side.
